The Beach Hut, I Called It 母狗的小屋
This is my 1st time drop by this beach pub at day time, after our lunch at Subway nearby.
The Beach Hut, as the name suggests, by the beach. It does actually have quite a good view of the beach from most tables too. Its also considered a friendly places where visitors thought of bringing their furkids and chilling out with a nice mug of beer.
It is very informal, shorts and t-shirts are the norm. The staff are very laid back and quite friendly, just I found their service is a bit slow. Food is a mixture of Asian and Western so there's something for everyone.
Draft beer, surprisingly it's San Miguel. They do a couple of other bottled beers too (Heineken, Carlsberg, Stouts etc). Downside with the Beach Hut is that they have no restroom for customers - you have to walk to McDonald's and use their toilets next door (its FREE.)

A Slice of Heaven @ The Cheesecake Cafe
Chill-out during working hour.
The Cheesecake Cafe. is a cool chill-out spot in the Siglap area. With comfortable sofa seats, dim lightings with candles dotted around the cafe, chill out music in the background, and a lovely angel fountain, The Cheesecake Cafe has the perfect laid-back ambience where you can sip some wine and enjoy some cheesecake with a group of your friends as you chat the night away.
The interior is pretty cool with art on the walls, comfy sofas and a mini fountain. With such a cosy ambience, you might be thinking along the line of a hotel lounge or a cool spot in town. But no, located in the Siglap neighbourhood, you’re warmly welcomed even if you are clad in just your berms. There’s absolutely no pretence at The Cheesecake Cafe.
So I tried their Chocolate Tiramisu. The chocolate powder was rich but not overpowering. Should try this one if you, like me, don't eat the cheesecake. And I had ice mocha.
If food is no issue or fuss and you want to have a relaxing night of conversations going; I will definitely drop by again. And I love the ambience there so much. But i do agree that the cakes are quite costly for their portion. Luckily this is not a everyday's affair :)

Sin Heng Claypot Bak Kut Teh
The bak kut teh here not only open 24 hours (except Monday), is also different compare to our usual bak kut teh which have clear peppery soup. This comes in a claypot and the soup is dark and have a herbal taste, which is mildly bitter. I believe this is similar to the bak kut teh more commonly found in Malaysia, but a bit more rare over here.
We ordered the special claypot, which comes with mushroom, vege and the black fungus, on top of the usual pork ribs. I personally enjoyed this. However, if just the bak kut teh alone, this place could have warranted a 4 star, but inclusive of rest of the dishes, is probably just average.

Wii Trip @ City Square, Johore Bahru
Sunday morning, we (AQ, Ivy and I) meet-up for simple breakfast 1st at White Sands before our journey to JB. Mission today is get Ivy her birthday present, Wii (modified US version) from Johore Bahru.
After an hour driving distance, we finally reach Foo Hai workshop at Johore Raya area. We're stuck at that workshop for almost 6hours. Doing nothing just waiting them to fix AQ's car before we head down to City Square. At the same time we fool around with photo taking here and there, coz Ivy was too boring about car things. Haha.
Of coz nice bak kut teh for our lunch. It's just nearby the workshop with short driving distance. But I still prefer that one with "claypot Unagi", which I brought AQ there last time.
Until evening time, then we went to City Square. Straight to Level4, the gameshop where I bought most of my PSP game. Negotiate with my friend to get Ivy better offer. But can't manage help her fight for cheaper price, but more Wii games. Yupe I also get a few FREE PSP games after that. Damaged about RM1430 for the Wii, with 2 controller set and games.
